Minimalist? Resort? Traditional? Country? Asian? Avante-Garde? Zen? Any thing goes? Why?
I love modern and minimalist……As a designer, I have found overtime, less is more….I get tired of all the traditional, over done interiors. Everyone has there own taste, but for me, I do prefer modern. With life being so fast and complicated at times, I love to come home to a quite, minimal interior, it just gives me more tranquility!

I love decorating my home in a country style. I love the colors and the "old" looking crafts. I can’t afford antiques so shopping around for something that looks like it is sometimes a challenge. Thrift stores, flea markets and yard sales have produced some treasures for my family.

I prefer clean lines, warm colors, and no clutter, because I want to walk into a room and instantly feel relaxed and unstressed.
Currently, my bedroom is decorated in tropical greens and browns, with green/tan patterned drapes on the windows and sheer cream panels over/around the bed.
There’s also a ‘love seat’ sofa with 2 pillows and an afghan for comfy lounging, and a 6-1/2 foot artificial palm tree behind it. The paintings and minimal decor depict the relaxed calmness of a tropical island.
When I come home after a stressful day at work, I can turn on some music, stretch out on the sofa, and imagine I’m in a cottage at a tropical resort.

I like French Country because it is cozy. I also like lots of cool stuff to look at. If it’s too bare, it isn’t cozy and cozy is the name of the game for me.
