2 months gives people time to buy in advance. I like to buy little by little it’s easier on the pocket.

The weekend after Thanksgiving (in the US) or the last weekend in November. They (the stores) start way too soon now, by the time Christmas arrives I’m sick of it! (Not the sentimental part, just the commercialization)

A week after Thanksgiving. Sadly, they’ve already begun. Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas decor is for sale in some stores right now. At least they haven’t begun playing Christmas music on the loudspeakers yet.

AROUND HALLOWEEN IS WHEN THEY USUALLY DO IT. THATS WHEN I START THINKING ABOUT CHRISTMAS. I LIKE TO DO ALL MY SHOPPING EARLY AND BE DONE BY THANKSGIVING.

Apparently the stores around here think October 1st. And although it is nice to see all the decor, it’s a bit confusing for my pre-schoolers! ‘Mom, I thought it was almost Halloween, not Christmas! Are you telling us the truth?’ Like I would lie to them.

I think they should start displaying all the holidays of the season at the same time they start displaying Halloween things.
