Modern Home Decorating

I don’t know what’s happening but two of neighbors hosted a garage sale for two consecutive weeks. There were a  lot of finds for keeps. My friend went out and bought five modular office furniture pieces which she says look as if they were never used. I went for these old dresser that would only need little reworking. The kids got a lot of toys and books. I actually thought that the neighbors are moving out. Later on, I learned that they are just getting their houses renovated so they need to clean up old stuff. Good for them and for us too.

I was once told that you should not do things half-heartedly. You need to set everything as if you are doing it for the last time. Otherwise, it won’t come out as you want it to be. This is the reason why I opted to have modular office furniture in my new business office. I actually didn’t care about which type of pieces I should get. Then, I realized that aesthetics play a role in my would be employees disposition. I opted for these ones since I am just starting out. My interior designer assured me that I can expend the pieces in the future if I want to.

There is more to office interiors than just choosing wall colors. You also need to know which is the right kind of furniture to use. In my case, I went for modular office furniture because I don’t have the luxury of space. These furniture pieces are not only modern-looking. Since they can very well be connected to each other like jigsaw puzzles, setting them up together is easy. The good thing about them is that they can be improved in the long run. You can buy additional pieces and connect them with the old ones to create bigger and more working cubicles.

The company I’m working in is due to close in a few months. Of course, this is terrible news. I am quite very nervous about it. But somehow, I think this is the best time for me to start the small business I had in mind. Since I have limited capital, I asked the administrator of our office if the company’s modular office furniture in our division would be up for a sale. She said they would be so I’ll be buying these pre-used furniture for my business. It would perfectly fit on the small office space my husband got.

The economy is really not getting any friendlier to businesses. Our small office is feeling the economic crunch. But instead of really getting pulled down, we decided to modernize the office to give our employees a boost. We went to have automatic doors, telephones and other stuff. We also upgraded our office interiors with modular office furniture. We got new sets of computer units for them. So far, they seem all perked up with the renovations. I hope the company can survive this storm with them. Although work is really stressful, we want to make sure that our employees are happy with what they are doing.

I have  a small company. We have like 8 employees under our roof. I was in the pantry when I over heard three employees ranting at how inefficient the setup of the office is. They didn’t notice I was there. When I came out, they were red as tomatoes. I wanted to actually ask them what are the things that needed improvement. Good thing my cousin, an interior decorator, was willing to give me that insight. She suggested I change my setup to modular office furniture so my employees will have more room to move. When I announced this plan to my employees, those three were grinning from ear to ear. I’m sure glad I heard them.

I’m not the type who would really be concerned about office interiors. When I was working, all that I took note is the functionality of my workplace setup. Aside from this, I don’t concern myself on the wall colors and other stuffs. All these changed when I was doing my own office’s interiors. I consulted with an interior designer. The next day she came back showing me pictures of various office furniture. I got my eye on the modular office furniture picture she showed me. It was sleek and modern-looking. She said it’s also functional since they can be connected to one another like puzzle pieces.
