My friends and I decided to finish our school project at my classmate’s house. We were so busy that we forgot about time. When I called my mom to pick me up, she says she’s already getting worried of me not yet home because there was heavy snow. I looked out in the windows and it was true. Apparently, we got so warmed up at my friend’s house that we didn’t notice of the blizzard. We were forced to stay at my friend’s house for the night since it’s too dangerous to travel. My mom arranged to pick up early in the morn so I could prepare for school the next day. Good thing my friend has spare cot bed mattress and beds for the whole group.

The perennial question of getting a cot bed mattress has already bothered a lot of soon-to-be parents. You see, the good thing about cot bed mattress is that it is a versatile option. Your baby won’t get stuck as a baby so you need a mattress that would keep up with your tiny tot. I got a cot bed mattress with this in mind. I think it’s a simple but effective decision since my kid still uses the cot bed mattress even if he is seven years old already. I think it would fit him even if he’s already 10.

When I was pregnant with my son, my mom advised me to get a cot bed mattress instead of getting one that is just for babies. She says it’s more of a good buy since I would probably have another kid being a newlywed that time. I think my mother is right. Not that I’m having a second child anytime soon. The cot bed mattress is also something we don’t need to replace just yet. However, my 7 year old son still refuses to sleep on an adult bed. He still can’t let go of the cot bed mattress he used when he was still a baby.

My son is going away to college. I made him pack his stuff and bring the ones he won’t use to the attic. I gave him this garbage plastics so that he could throw away what he wants. When he went up to the attic, he found his old cot bed mattress. He said he’ll be bringing it to college. We got it cleaned. I was teasing him that maybe he needs a security mattress but then he blurted out that it might make his dormitory bed more comfortable. I’m sure he is just missing home.

We cleaned our attic last week and found a lot of things that we could still use. One of them is the old cot bed mattress that the kid’s use. Yesterday, I went to the hardware store and bought some wood and tools. I printed this layout for making a couch with wooden frame from the Internet. I dedicated the whole day on the project. Then, I cut the cot bed mattress to serve as the new couch’s foam. My wife immediately sewed a new cover for the newly cut foam for the couch. After several hours, the couch is ready for use.

I am giving birth to my first child in six months. So, my mom and I went shopping for baby’s supplies. I was picking a baby bed when my mom suggested that I should get a cot bed mattress and bed instead. She says that the baby bed would only fit my baby up until she is small. The cot bed mattress can be used if she outgrows it. I checked on the price of the cot bed and got convinced. I’ll just need to add a few dollars and I would have an investment. I think that’s a practical move.

My sister and I went to our old storage house and discovered a lot of things. We got our old cot bed mattress and cleaned it. The next day, we heard that there would be a meteor shower in the evening. We were so excited. The cot bed mattress can very well be our bed on the yard. We won’t need to climb on our roof to watch the meteor shower. My sister and freak out at the thought of climbing to our roof since we were kids. Needless to say, we had a great time. The meteor shower is so breathtaking.
