how much area does a string of 100 mini lights cover (in feet approximately)?

It’s hard to tell because they’re all different, and I wish they would always put the length on the package since ‘50 lights’ doesn’t say much when you don’t know how far apart they are. 100 lights should stretch out to 50 feet most of the time but might not. I open the packages now before I buy and see how far apart the lights are.
