My mother has been complaining that my room is a jungle. Every time she picks up the laundry basket from my room, she goes into a long-day litany of how “clean” my room was. So after several convincing with myself, I finally decided to give my room a breather yesterday. I started with everything that’s on the floor. You can just guess how messy my room is. It was around five in the afternoon when I finally got to the content of every oak bedroom furniture pieces I have. Ending line? It took me until 10 in the evening to clean up the entire room. Imagine the shock of my mom the next day.

My kids seem to be spending a lot more time in the yard. My husband thinks that we should get them new iron patio furniture to make them more comfortable. After all, they would probably outgrow their plastic chairs and toys soon. I’m thinking of getting them an iron swing as well. That way, they could enjoy afternoons lazing in the swing. But I guess, I have to wait until my youngest, Rob, turns seven. That way I would have peace of mind that he won’t get into any messy accident with the swing. Honestly, I wasn’t really into outdoor activities when I was younger so I’m getting surprised that I know these outdoor innovations.

You can say that I am not a woman that can be relied on the house. I really am not the homebody type. You can just imagine the changes I’ve gone through when I settled down with my husband. The fact that we have our own house made the task even more challenging for me. I remember the first week of shopping for stuffs in the house. I went to a home improvement store which my mom says has friendly staffs. I asked for interior shutters and the attendant showed me lots of them. I didn’t even know what I need! Good thing the staffs there are very helpful.

One of my close college buddies has set up a small company with his partners. He wanted meto join the team as one of their corporate communications heads. After several meetings, I finally agreed to his offer. He said he needs to warn me a little because his office is a lot smaller than what I am used to. On my first day, I was really expecting that the office would be a little cramped. I was surprised to see that it was not what I imagined it to be. The staff use modular office furniture pieces so the space was really maximized. Even my small office doesn’t look small at all. His interior designer made a good job.

We’re moving to my mom’s old house. Since he and dad are moving to a new home, she told me I can have it since I’m having prolems with my apartment’s amortization. Anyway, we got into a renovation plan and consulted a few people. There were, of course, a lot to retain and remove. The designer-friend that we tapped said we could just let the wood plantation shutters, patio and yard be since they are still charming. We will just be changing paints and a few fixtures in the house to make it appear a liitle bit contemporary and modern.

I have a long time girlfriend whom I have proposed. Well, she’s my wife now. It’s almost a month since we got married. You know the saying that you only get to know your love only when you are married? I think that’s true. Last week, she told me that she we need to buy a new bed even if she pays for it. I asked her why and found that she doesn’t want iron bed headboards. She is just not comfortable. She also likes to buy two more pillows even if we don’t have any more room in the bed.

Getting a good luxury mattress might be considered as a good option. For one, this type of mattress really provides people with a high level of comfort that may be absent from other types. It is for this reason that a lot of people who wants to use luxury mattress really consider this as an investment. It could also be said that this mattress is a great addition for those who are suffering from medical conditions such as allergy. Remember that you should still go with practicality at all times. Assess the needs not the wants when deciding.
