Modern Home Decorating

I went to a friend’s house for the summer. We stayed at their ancestral home in Louisiana. I was really amazed with the interiors. I just don’t know if I was accustomed to European styles but the interior of their house is really breath-taking. They even have these shutters called wood plantation shutters that they varnish regularly. One of the house help whispered that it was built when my friend’s great grandmother was born. Now, that’s the kind of long lasting antique I would want to have! I took a lot of pictures during that vacation. I hope to make use of them as my inspiration in my next styling projects.
