Easy and cheap Christmas ornaments and crafts?
I know it is a bit early but I was wondering if anyone can tell me what Christmas ornaments are cheap and easy to make? I found online how to make a little snowman out of a sock, just wanted to see what else I could make. Thanks!

I made some beautiful garlands last year out of scrapbooking paper. You need a sewing machine.
I used a large circle punch and cut circles out a whole bunch of different papers. I then ran them through the sewing machine one at a time, edge to edge, making a nifty, twirly garland. It got a lot of compliments.
You could also do dozens of paper snowflakes. My mother got the idea from the movie Elf, where he decorates the room in white paper and it looks just beautiful. She has done it for the last three Christmases and I really want to do it next year. Just remember not to turn on any ceiling fans.

Plastic canvas ornaments are nice and not too expensive. You just need time, yarn, and plastic canvas. Another idea for a xmas craft ornament is to take small puzzle pieces and glue them onto a cardboard circle in about 3 layers (similar to a donut with the whole), then spray the puzzle pieces with green paint and let dry. Put small dots on them with red paint and a dull toothpick, attach loop for hanging and you are done. (I use a circle cutter and file folders for the cardboard.)
