Preferably, neutral colors… any cute ideas? tips? Hints?

I think neutral would be using tans, creams, light blue and browns……For the bathroom you could get brown rug, towels, and toothbrush holders and add splashes of cream and tan. The living room could buy a tan/neutral couch and thow a blight blue throw on it with light blue and brown pillows, add brown frames and tan candles….Have fun

You can have a room with creams, chocolatey browns and golds. This look would look great in a dinning room or bedroom

I would definitely check out environmentally friendly options like low VOC paints, recycled or rapidly renewable resources, and definitely look for materials without any urea formaldahyde. You can have a really great looking home that’s healthy for your family. Let me know if it’s something you’re interested in, I can give you more detailed products.

Watch Design on a Dime or any of the other shows on HGTV. They are great for design ideas.

One way to decorate is to pick something in the room to be the "center piece" and choose your colors to match it. For example, choose a color from your bedding to put on your bedroom walls. Choose a color from your couch or a color that complements your couch for your living room walls.

Put some pictures of the furniture you will be keeping up on photobucket and add links to them in a future question for more specific ideas.

for your room I think you should paint it a color that would make it seem welcoming, I believe that Purple is the right color, it’s in between, not too bright, not too dark and deff not boring .

other areas of your house like your living room and kitchen or even bathroom should be like a nice cream color
