How much electricity is used by a string of 100 mini christmas lights? (in watts)?

Just regular christmas lights, not leds or anything fancy.
Many of the modern mini-lights are close to 0.45 watts each. One hundred of these should take 45 W. These are the ones that fit in a tiny plastic socket that is pushed in, not screwed in.
C-7 lights (they look like miniature light bulbs, with a small socket; they screw in) are between 3 and 7 W each, depending on the model and make. One hundred could eat up to 700 W (However, they rarely come in sets of that many lights).

for this question look at the book and use this conversions
1 watts = 1 joules/sec
1 horsepower = 746 watts
1 kilowatt/hour =1000 watts/hour

probably about 40w

Well, how many of such strings can you gang on a single outlet without blowing the breaker? I’d guess maybe 4.
So how much
current soe each strand draw?
P = IV (rms) ?
V = 120 Volts
V(rms) maybe 80 Volts or so
So I’d guess about 250 Watts.
How many 60 watt bulbs can you have on the same
circuit in a house?
