When I went around last year, the streets in Cavite were bright with Christmas lights in every street. Any interesting places to drive by?

Policarpio street in Mandaulyong City.. The street is well known for its eye-catching decors and lights.. Its always featured on TV/news during this time of the year.

It’s as if the whole street is having a competition of "can you beat my house’s decors?". Good luck visiting though, the street gets so crowded during christmas season because of tourists and sidewalk vendors taking the business opportunity. But it’s definitely a sight to behold.

  1. Bitter Guy Said,

When you travel around the Phils, you can’t help but notice it. Try going around the more affluent villages like Forbes Park, Ayala Alabang and Corinthian Gardens. Christmas decors on some of the houses there look very nice.

Yes, bitter guy is right. If you want to see first class christmas decors, go and visit these executive places.

But if you also appreciate the more "vintage-like" or "the more cultured xmas decors".. you can visit ilocos.. ;-)

yes, when we are having a joyride during the christmas season, we love to look at the decors. makati is aglow with lights now and each building has their decor like the nativity scene, angels heralding the baby jesus’ birth etc.

yes, exclusive subdivisions have breathtaking decors. i was in beverly hills in antipolo last week and it was simply amazing. drive by magallanes village, forbes & bel-air too in makati & those in alabang subdivisions.

and it is not in ilocos but in pampanga where the "parols" are magnificent. they even hold the "parol" festival every year and pampanga-made "parols" are renowned worldwide.

the main plazas in every town in the Philippines, especially in big cities, even in the barrio, you can see Christmas decors that are really great and beautiful in the day, and Christmas lights are very bright in the night…
