What are some cheap decorating ideas for a small apartment?
My husband and I just got married, and now that we are home I am realizing just how frat-boyish our apartment is. I am looking for some budget friendly ways to decorate and change the look to a more… adult.. feeling. Any ideas?
HiI am actually a professional decorator and I would suggest taking all of your current decorations out of the room and starting fresh. I would get a rug with nice colors and patterns and then get some coordinating pillows within the same color scheme. Paint is also a great way to add some color. Try a fun color and a fun pattern on the wall. Also mirrors are a great way to add the feel of more space. Oh and one more thing if you add window treatments extend the rods from the actual window so you don’t take away from the window and its fresh light, and make sure that they are sheers.
