What’s the latest for interior decor?
Now that Magnolia seems to be dating for inside walls, does anyone know what the latest fashion colour is. Someone was saying it’s white for walls
A big color this year (2008) is pink in the darker raspberry tones and the pinky reds moving toward the coral shades. Use with a rich neutral like chocolate brown.
Chocolate browns with a red-violet undertone and anything earthy, including water blues and greens.
Neutral greys in the clean tones of chalk, slate, charcoal and gray flannel. Team up with brighter accent color combinations, like orange.
Black and white rooms are still very dramatic and quite stylish especially when one of the two colors dominates.
Metallic and denim blue and even lavender will also have a presence.
But most importantly, colors that inspire and make you feel good.
Well you could do white but then white makes people feel uncomfortable and very insane that’s why most insane assylums have white walls plus its very boring.
And I wish I knew what the newest colors are for 2009 yes I said 2009 in the Design industries they post the colors for next year a year early. If you get a chance and if it comes to where you are go to a convention called NEOCON its an interior design convention and they have lost of companies including paint companies that will tell you what colors are up and coming.
