interior home decorating question: bedroom cieling color?

Our accent wall will be brick-red/burnt orange color and then we’ll have a cream or taupe on the other walls. Should the ceiling be a lighter shade than the main walls or slightly darker?

Help appreciated!

Paint the ceiling with white or ash white color. It will give spacious and calm look to your room.     Have you ever heard people say take off one piece of jewelry before you leave the house, because you’ve probably overdone it while getting ready to go out? Same situation applies here. Don’t go all decoratey on the ceiling. Just use ceiling white and you’ll do fine.

    off white..you have soft colours…keep it soft not stark with the white…the ceiling will look better in the off white
