is there a website that would help you with home decorating ideas?
Posted by Jade Martins on Nov-21-2009
Yes, we just launched http://www.DesignMyRoom.com for exactly that. What’s different from lots of other sites is that there’s a really easy-to-use design tool that you can use to design with real products.
Also, you can get design ideas from our host, celebrity designer Robert Verdi, along with some of America’s hottest designers. People like Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz, Laura Kirar, Amy Lau, Harry Heissmann, Eric Cohler, Rebecca Cole, Bella Mancini and Ernest de la Torre.
The site has a tool called "Lift this Look" that let’s you take designs from these people and appy them to your own room.
Give it a shot and let me know what you think.
Best,
Jesse

In addition to the other sites that were mentioned, I also like Better Home & Gardens:

And my favorite color visualizer is Sherwin Williams. They let you see their entire color palette all at once, and they show coordinating colors for trim & accents at the bottom.
