Do it yourself, cheap home decorating ideas?

My room is pretty boring, and its getting worse… if thats even possible. I’m looking for some easy do it yourself decorations, and maybe some wall collage ideas. Thanks in advance.
paint is the easiest…wallpaper is harder……textures painting is cool cuz you get both color AND texture…….
built in furniture, especially anything that is suspended from the wall is cool……..
